DISPOSITION OF OLD RECYCLING CONTAINERS
Residents interested in disposing of plastic or
metal containers previously used for recycling may drop them
off at the Street Department on Third Street from
May 13th through May 17th and May
20th through May 24th between 6:30 a.m. and 3:30
p.m.
Containers may also be brought to Outagamie County
Recycling Facility during their regular business hours -
Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. and 3:30
p.m. and Saturdays from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00
a.m.
Metal containers will be collected curbside when placed out for
large and irregular collection if they are marked with a "Take Me"
sign.

NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS
Notice is hereby given by the Board of Public Works of the City
of Kaukauna that it will receive sealed bids for Project Number
3-13, "ORCHARD DRIVE MINI-STORM SEWER", until 6:00 p.m. on the
third (3) day of June, 2013, in the City Clerk/Treasurer's office,
Municipal Building, in the City of Kaukauna. The Board of
Public Works will open bids in the Council Chambers at 6:00 p.m. on
the same date. The bids shall be labeled "Project Number
3-13, "ORCHARD DRIVE MINI-STORM SEWER".
Bidder's Proof of
Responsibility must be on file in the City Clerk's Office by
4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 29, 2013. A
non-refundable fee of $5.00
is required for each set of plans and specifications. An additional
non-refundable fee of $5.00
will be required for each set of plans and specifications that is
mailed out.

Grade Setting
Engineering staff will set grades for lots, sidewalks and
driveways for property owners within the City of Kaukauna free of
charge. Please contact the Engineering Department
at 920-766-6305 and staff will set your grades within 72 hours.
Maps
The Engineering Department offers a wide assortment of maps. Most
are available free of charge. Please contact staff for more specific
information.
Metal Detector
The City of Kaukauna has a metal detector available to assist
residents in finding buried property irons along their lot lines.
The metal detector is available to City of Kaukauna residents free
of charge and can be checked out for 24 hours.

upcoming municipal projects?

When will concrete street, gutter and sidewalks be
installed on my street?
The Engineering Department maintains a Five Year Capital
Improvements plan that lists proposed improvements throughout the
City. Please contact Public Works Director John Sundelius at
920-766-6305 for more information.
Will the City come out and mark my lot
lines?
The City of Kaukauna will not mark property lines for private
owners. However, we do have maps available that will show your lot
dimensions and a metal detector to help locate buried property
irons. Both the map and the metal detector usage are available to
City residents at no charge.
